Anyone listening ?
Has development stopped for Final Countdown ?
Hello,

Have you tried pressing yes on the Beta ?
I If yes and it still did not solved the problem can you please to run Final Countdown with administrator rights ?

You can find how to do so by following the steps here: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/w...

The development is not stopped but more like paused. Currently i am working on other projects and unfortuntely can not update the Final Countdown for a while. I will try to work on that as soon as i find time to do so.

Hi,

thanks a lot for your reply and sorry for getting back to you so late.
I'll try your suggestions and get back to you soon.
Since I know now someone is actually listening, let me also say thanks for the Final Countdown. While there are of course other shutdown applications yours I like best and feature richest, so it would be nice getting it to work. :)

We'll see...
Ok, so I tested...

Yes, after that running Final Countdown again, same result, not shutting down, giving me the same error mesage again. "Seems like there is a problem with your Windows Files..."

I'm always logged in on Windows as admin and this XP install only has admin account, so this can't be the issue.

Here's the recent log:

btw, in the meantime I'm using another shutdown program called "Easy Pro Shutdown" and it works without problems, so I guess it has to be something specific to your shutdown process.

Thank you
